Definition
- Person employed by or associated with any enterprise,
- Conducting or participating in the affairs of the enterprise,
- Through a pattern of corrupt activity or the collection of an unlawful debt.
Potential Penalties
Engaging in corrupt activity in Ohio can be a felony of the first second or third degree depending on the crime. It is considered a felony of the first degree if the corrupt activity includes murder and can be penalized by a prison term of up to 11 years and a penalty of up to $20,000.
