    Our experience with Mr. Funkhouser could be summarized as EXCELLENT. He represented one of my family members who went through a shoplifting case. We have never been through something like that in our lives. So we were confused and disoriented but Mr. Funkhouser was really patient and highly professional every time we called or met with him. He always answered our questions or concerns. We also educated ourselves that sometimes good people behave in inexplicable ways when they are facing hard times. -Several studies have found diagnosed depression to exist in approximately 1/3 of the shoplifters studied. Depression was the most frequently found physiological problem. -National Association for Shoplifting Prevention (NASP)…There are no excuses to justify a despicable behavior, however; addressing the root of the problem and learned the lesson is what really matters. Thank you very much Mr. Funkhouser.
